¡PAZ Y BENDICIONES!
Estimados hermanos misioneros, con gran Alegría y Esperanza les saludos, confiando en la Bondad de nuestro Dios se encuentren bien junto a sus familias y la comunidad. El santo tiempo del Adviento ya está con nosotros, y ha llegado para ayudarnos a prepararnos al gran acontecimiento del nacimiento de nuestro Redentor y Salvador.
La gran fiesta de “Navidad” de acerca, quizás todo el año hemos estado esperando. En este momento nuestras mentes deben estar intensamente en espera de la venida de Jesús, de aquel que es Justo. Los misioneros hemos de aprender una y otra vez a depositar la esperanza en ÉL; nuestro auxilio estará en su nombre “En el nombre del Señor que hizo el cielo y la tierra” (Salmo 123,8) El Niño Dios recompensará con su poderío a aquello que, llenos de confianza, depositan totalmente su esperanza en su misericordia. En este tiempo de Navidad hemos de estar con un corazón dispuesto a recibir de nuestro Rey Niño las grandes lecciones que nos regalara: la humildad, obediencia y Amor, él ha venido a enseñarnos el significado de esa palabra maravillosa. “No hay amor más grande que dar la vida por sus amigos” ( Jn 15,13) Por esta razón el misionero ha de sacar de su vida el odio y el rencor, para dar lugar al amor del Dios Niño.
Queridos hermanos misioneros el santo tiempo de la Navidad, nos habla claramente de nuestros deberes para con el Niño Dios, es nuestra indiscutible obligación conocerlo, amarlo, servirlo y darlo a conocer a otros. No olvidemos que la perfección del amor por Él se encuentra en la pureza de intención, de nuestras mentes, nuestras palabras, nuestras acciones, los servicios que hacemos por Él y en el sacrificarnos con todo nuestro corazón y con toda nuestra alma.
Entonces la gran pregunta de nuestras vidas debe ser ésta: ¿Cómo puedo servirlo mejor? Ninguna de nuestras intenciones de seguir a Cristo tiene valor si no reconocemos y contestamos esta pregunta. El amor y la acción de gracias deben impulsarnos a esto, a exclamar sin cesar: “Bendito sea tu nombre, venga a nosotros tu reino, hágase tu voluntad” (Mt 6, 9-10). Su santa Voluntad se nos manifiesta a través de las inspiraciones de su Santo Espíritu, a través de sus enseñanzas en el Evangelio y a través de su Iglesia. Considero que a cada uno de nosotros misioneros, la gracia de Dios nos está llamando cada día a su servicio y aquello que hagamos por el prójimo, Él lo reconocerá como hecho a Él, pues su mandamiento dice: “Amaras a tu prójimo como a ti mismo” (Mt 22, 39). Queridos hermanos, en este año animados por estas verdades, debemos entregarnos más generosamente, más devotamente al servicio de nuestro Jesús Salvador; no olvidemos que nuestra misión es exaltar su Nombre, extender su reino. No debemos descuidar nada, no debemos pasar por alto nada que nos pueda ayudar a estar mejor preparados y a ser más eficientes en nuestro servicio. Que la Virgen Madre nos ayude a crecer en amor a su Hijo Jesús.

PEACE AND BLESSINGS!
Dear missionary brothers, with great joy and hope I greet you, trusting in the Goodness of our God that you are well together with your families and the community. The holy season of Advent is upon us, and it has come to help us prepare for the great event of the birth of our Redeemer and Savior.
The "Christmas" season is coming up maybe we've been waiting all year long. At this moment our minds must be intensely awaiting the coming of Jesus, the One who is Righteous. We missionaries must learn again and again to place hope in Him; our help will be in his name "In the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 123:8) The Child God will reward with his power those who, full of trust, place their total hope in his mercy. In this Christmas season we must be with a heart ready to receive from our Child King the great lessons that he gave us: humility, obedience, and Love, he has come to teach us the meaning of that wonderful word. "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends" (Jn 15:13). Therefore, the missionary must remove hatred and resentment from his life to make room for the love of the Child God.
Dear missionary brothers, the holy season of Christmas speaks clearly to us of our duties towards the Child Jesus, it is our indisputable obligation to know him, to love him, to serve him, and to make him known to others. Let us not forget that the perfection of love for Him is found in the purity of intention, our minds, our words, our actions, the services we do for Him, and in sacrificing ourselves with all our heart and soul.
So the great question of our lives must be this: How can I best serve Him? None of our intentions to follow Christ are worthless if we do not recognize and answer this question. Love and thanksgiving should impel us to this, to cry out unceasingly: "Blessed be your name, your kingdom come, you will be done" (Mt 6:9-10). His holy Will is manifested to us through the inspirations of His Holy Spirit, through His teachings in the Gospel, and His Church. I believe that for each one of us missionaries, God's grace is calling us every day to his service, and whatever we do for our neighbor, he will recognize as done to him, because his commandment says: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Mt 22:39). Dear brothers and sisters, in this year, encouraged by these truths, we must give ourselves more generously, more devoutly to the service of our Jesus the Saviour; let us not forget that our mission is to exalt His Name, to extend His kingdom. We must not neglect anything, we must not overlook anything that can help us to be better prepared and more efficient in our service. May the Virgin Mother help us to grow in love for her Son Jesus.
